EAP Counseling Services
Our Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) provide confidential counseling and referral services that support your employees and enhance the effectiveness of your organization. EAP services are designed to help your employees and their eligible household members accurately identify personal problems and work to resolve their difficulties. Our clinicians are experienced, highly trained professionals. All have a Master’s degree or higher in fields like counseling, social work or psychology. Most have more than 5 years experience and all are trained in short term counseling and licensed or certified in the states in which they practice.

We answer our toll free and local telephones live, always. That means 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, an EAP professional is immediately available. Language is never a barrier because we have immediate access to interpreters, always.

Our professional staff has a goal to answer all telephone calls by the third ring. We have a 94% success rate in meeting this commitment. Confidentiality begins with the first call.

Our standard of care requires that a client make only one telephone call to receive a needed service. The client determines how, when and where contact will be made. Network providers will contact the client before the end of the next business day and an appointment must be made available within 72 hours. In an emergency, a client is offered a same day appointment.

EAP Staff and Service Providers
We connect clients with carefully selected Network Providers already included in your comprehensive health care plan. The Network Provider is not only a central partner in the delivery of services to the client but also the means to effective cost management and appropriate utilization of health care benefits. The EAP sessions you select will always be utilized before any expenses are incurred in your health benefits plan.

TWC’s manages a network of more than 12,000 contract providers to our high standard of care and continuity. We provide the following specialty networks:

  • 4,000 certified Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) service providers
  • 2,700 certified substance abuse professionals (SAP)
  • 1,400 eldercare specialists.

We maintain case records and all communication in accordance with Federal law.

Management Consultation and Referral

A TWC Senior Consultant is available by telephone where you are and when needed to consult with your HR staff, senior leadership, managers and supervisors to resolve complex workplace issues. We are available to provide on-site management consultation, training and services to support change management and enhance employee development and retention. Some examples of services offered are

Work/Life & Referral Services

Your complete work/life product provides prompt, accurate information and resources throughout the United States and beyond. Clients can receive immediate referrals to pursue resources directly themselves. Emergency requests are processed within 6 hours. Referral sources with the necessary information, availability and forms are provided within 12 hours by email or fax or by U.S. mail within 72 hours.

workLifeThe Wellness Corporation (TWC) is proud to offer all of our clients our Wellness Worklife Website. The website offers a library of resources to customer employees, family and household members. All that is needed is a computer, the time to find answers to questions and the desire to explore a world of resources available for further investigation. You will find hundreds of references, articles, online and video streaming programs, interactive tools, calculators, Federal and State documents, and more.

momNew Parent Transition Program
All employees who are new parents of natural or adopted infants are invited to participate in this telephonic time management program. New parents will work with a Family Management Coach to learn how to structure their lives to best balance the demands of a new baby, family and work responsibilities.

Budget and Debt Counseling Services
Customer employees with credit and budgeting problems can access budget and debt counseling services through the EAP toll-free telephone line. If a client qualifies for a debt consolidation program, TWC will pay the initial fee charged by our referral company. If a potential client does not qualify for a debt consolidation program, the referral company will provide information and materials to assist with credit problems.

Financial Consultation Services
Clients seeking financial consultations can access services through TWC’s toll-free telephone line. An EAP professional will ask general questions about the area of financial expertise required and forward the information to our national provider who will contact the client at a time and telephone number that is convenient. Clients will receive information regarding tax issues, estate planning and other investment options.

Legal Consultation and Referral Services

Clients seeking legal help can access services through TWC’s toll-free telephone line. An EAP professional will ask general questions about legal concerns and forward the information to our national provider, who will contact the client at a time and telephone number that is convenient. Clients receive free telephone consultation, as often as required and referrals to attorneys in their area who provide a free 30-minute face-to-face meeting and further legal services at a 25% reduction in fees.

Exit Interview Service
Employee feedback is essential to organizational improvement. We can design an exit interview process which provides critical information to the organization from employees who are voluntarily leaving the organization. Analysis is conducted and trends are identified which can support the organization in future recruiting, management training, employee engagement, earlier identification of potential risk situations and other Human Resource requirements.

"Just in Time Care"
The "Just in Time" care program is a comprehensive, community-based, employer-subsidized backup care program that addresses a wide range of family circumstances, whether anticipated or unanticipated. It can be used when regular child or elder care arrangements are not available. It can also be used when children or elders are ill; when regular care providers are sick, on vacation, resign, or go out of business; when schools are closed for snow and holidays, or any other situation in which regular care arrangements fall through.
